Just re installed windows had msi afterburner installed. Was playing the witcher. Seems msi after burner capped my fan at 36% speed. Got to 100 degrees Celsius for maybe 5 to 10 min. Is my graphics card damaged by this? I usually keep it around 60-70c. I have a r9 270.
I tried to find a max gpu temp documented officially but couldn't find anything.
Thanks if anyone can help.

If it performs the same, then no, I think it is fine. If it has lost any performance, then maybe it has been damaged.

And capping your fans is usually not a good idea .

Yeah I definitely didn't cap the fans on purpose, I don't think I've lost any performance. I ran the Tomb Raider benchmark (This I check regularly) The first time it ran there was an artifact but then I ran it 10 more times and nothing; the frame rate is normal so i guess its fine. Thanks for the response.
