Is my hard-drive being bottlenecked?

I have two hard-drives and one is SATA 3 6gb/s and the other one is SATA 3gb/s and my computer feels slower with windows explorer and other things.

Could the SATA 3gp/s be making the computer slower?

With regular hard drives, SATA 3 or SATA 6 makes no difference. Your problem, if any, lies elsewhere.

When was the last time you did a fresh install? Have you considered a SSD there coming down in price and a 120 gig will run your os with room to spare while you use the mechanical drives for other apps and programs??? whats the specs on your pc?
