Is my hard drive dieing?

It seems lately that my pc is taking long to load. This is a fresh install of win 7. and alot of my games are crashing all the time. my pc is even bsod. when i click on an icon on my screen it takes sometimes for ever to load. So when this was happen i thought that it was my win 7 was bad so i re-installed win7 still had the problem, went a got new build.. now i still have problem so this leaves me to think it is the hard drive. the problem happens when im playing a game it will crash... sometimes even my drivers are crashing for my ati graphics card. and when it does bsod it is randomly i cant get it to always bsod so that i would know what is wrong.

my build
i5 2500k
8gb ram
1tb hard drive sea-gate
asus motherboard
gpu:6950 2gb
psu: ocz mod x 600 watt.

Please help my pc has been like this for 2 weeks.

i use the seagate to test on my hard drive, and it said it was running fine

plus one time on boot up, it just got on windows main screen, and i went to click on the start menu, and when i clicked on it, i laged out says windows has stop responding, but then 2 mins later it was gone.
