hey everyone,

Im fairly new to the whole PC world. recently i built my very first PC. specs are as follows:

i5 6500 skylake
MSI Z170A PC MATE
MSI GTX 970 gaming 4gb
Corsair vengeance ddr4 2666mhz (2x8gb) 16gb
1 Tb hard drive
EVGA 500W White 80+ psu (currently) EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 is on its way

so i may be wrong but i think my voltage to my cpu is low. In CPU-Z it shows my CPU voltage at 0.75-1.0 at the highest. is this wrong?? i thought it was supposed to run at 1.2v or something like that. if this is normal then just let me know. if not then id really appreciate a solution to get it properly powered.

Solution
If everything is on the defaults it is controlling its input voltage on demand. It may not need the same voltage as other chips to achieve its maximum clock frequency. Every piece of silicon has varying amounts of leakage.
