[SOLVED] Is my i5-6600 stock cooler good enough for my new 9600k?

Never had any temperature issues and it's running smoothly, so I'm just doing a quick check that it's compatible, 2nd time building a PC.

I’d say no. The 6600 is a 65w TDP CPU and the 9600k is 95w. You need a better cooler.

Its enough to run at stock speed, I wouldn’t plan on overclocking even though you might be able to do a very light overclock if case airflow is good.
