Hello guys, i just finished my testing with my core i7 6700k.
Overclock to 4.6ghz stable
Corsair h100i gtx
Max temp 64c
Idle 22-30
Core voltage 1.39 adaptive +0.250

Is safe to use my cpu? I tried to lower the voltage and the system crash, is stable and working fine so far, any advice

Solution
Sounds like your OC is good, and are probably fine - Prime95 is well, past it's Prime (pun intended) 😉 as is stress testing for hours on end. Might run Aida or ROG Real Bench a couple times, if all is well there then should be fine
You ran the Prime95? For how much time? You have to run it atleast for 24 hours. If it passed that test then you are fine to go with it. Otherwise you can run the test again while playing some heavy game simultaneously. That would really put the CPU under damn heavy laod. Keep a note on temp at that time.
If you already did all this and everything went fine then yes you can go with this overclock. Good Luck!

people saying don't use prime95 it's not really good for testing. i am using handbrake x265 encoding..

sometimes when i overclocking prime95 didn't giving any error for 30-40 mins but handbrake is crashing after 1-2 minutes later with blue screen.

i think handbrake is better than prime95 for understand your new o.c is it stable or not..

fix me i am wrong. thx

Even if prime 95 isn't "up-to-date" if you can run it for a few hours and stay at 64C w/ no crashing... I don't see you crashing it with every day usage. Your OC is fine.

That being said, always a good idea to see how LOW you can get the voltage and maintain your OC. Play with it.

Just running Prime95 doesn't checks for all errors. Thats why I recommended to run IBT Test tool also.
