i dont know if my memory is CL9 or what,it says in the memory bar of CPuz:
CAS#Latency(CL) 9.0 Clocks

but when i go to the SPD bar in cpuz ,it says this:

CAS#Latency 7.0 , 8.0 , 9.0 , 10.0

so im kinda confused,is my memory cl9?

Solution
Might work, might not, no way of telling and guaranteeing, I'd guess it would play with the older stick, might have to manually set to 10-10-10-30 and raise DRAM voltage to about 1.56
I'm going to guess it's CL9. Can you post a screen shot of CPU-Z on the SPD tab?

My RAM. CL9

can i mix this ram with this one:http://pcx.com.ph/components/memory/corsair-4gb-ddr3-pc1333-cmv4gx3m1a1333c9.html

i know its a different brand but its also cl9 i guess and it has the same voltage as my ram so can i mix it with my ram and maybe even run it in dual channel?

funny thing is its actually 1066 i just set it to 1333

why set it to 10-10-10-30 to match if my CAS Latency is 7-8-9-10 and also why raise the voltage to 1.56 if both are the same 1.5? sorry for so many questions im a noob at this and im really curious

the 7-8-9-10 are the available CLs for use, the SPD info shows for 1333 as CL 10 or 9 (when mixing different models you often have to raise the CL - here if it will work at 10, we can then try at 9) , 8 at 1200 and 7 at 1066. The additional DRAM voltage of + 06 of the 1.5 rating is for same (mixing models. If they play together in the set I gave, we can then try tightening the timings and/or lowering voltage. It's a fairly standard approach used when mixing different sticks

Thanks for the answer man i think i get it now,a lil bit confusing but i think i get,i dont have the ram yet anyway but if i do i'll try this out and give you an update

One last question man,so am i going to change the voltage and the latency on the new ram only or for the old stick too? also the 4 gb ram stick is more likely to work with my ram than a 2 gb stick, also more likely to run in dual channel right?
