Is my monitor dead/dying?

Hi everyone. Lately my monitor has been doing this weird blue thing. It's hard to explain but I here is a pic:

I have confirmed it is the monitor itself and not the gfx card or the motherboard.
Is there anything I can do or am I forking out for a new monitor?

Is the problem the blue squiggle above where it says "1 Players (18 Max) ?
Very bizarre if it is, and don't know how that could be the monitor. What did you do to rule out GPU?
Are you sure driver, resolution, and refresh were all the same?

Hi. Yes that's it. This is my playstation the screen is currently on so it can't be the gpu.

Sometimes i can fix it by turning the screen off and on again but it's not working as much.

sometimes if i turn it off for a long time it comes back on but it's being less consistent

I am wondering if there may be heat build up going on inside your pc? have you removed one of the side panels, turned it on to see if the fans are running? is the monitor plugged in tight? I had this happen to one of my desktops,and it turned out I didn't have it completely plugged in.
Also check your display settings. try uninstalling the display adaptor(s), and let windows reinstall it.
did your monitor come with an install disc?

happening on ps4 as well. def's monitor. Getting a new one soon. thanks for the reply anyway

You are welcome. the new monitor should solve your problem. My friend in new Mexico,just told me that Monitors have a fuse, that when itstarts to go kaput,. your screen looks like the photos you submitted.he just replaces the fuse and the monitor is back on line.question is, where do you get the fuse, and is it costlier than getting a new Monitor?
