[SOLVED] Is my monitor is dying?H

I had an 14 years old Samsung SyncMaster932N Plus LCD monitor. It fails and goes black screen meanwhile the blue power button light is flickering. It only goes back if i punch the screen of the monitor, it is only way that i could force the monitor run.

Is it dying? Should i get a new monitor?

Maybe there are some loose connectors inside.

You can either have it fixed ot buy a new one.

In time, all things fail.
After 14 years, it is probably best to plan on buying a new monitor.
Consider this as an opportunity to upgrade to a larger/wider,higher resolution monitor,
