Is my motherboard able to handle overclocking? (ASUS m5 a97 r2)

I want to overclock my CPU and possibly my GPU. Is my motherboard able to handle the overclocking? I have a r9 270x video card and an AMD FX 8350 eight-core black edition processor. Also, is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo a good enough aftermarket fan to make sure my CPU doesn't reach dangerous temperatures? Any reply is greatly appreciated

Yes you can OC with that mobo, don't expect a massive OC, and yes the 212 EVO will be be fine, I've run my 8370 at 4.6 and kept good temps. A lot will depend on your OC goals.
