Is my motherboard RGB COMPATIBLE??

Hello, I have had my pc case for nearly 4 years and want an update, I have my eyes on some nice RGB pc cases however I'm worried my pc isn't compatible. I have a MSI z97 pc mate mobo and I can't find any info on it that says RGB. I was thinking maybe connect them to the system fan sockets? System fan 1 has 4 connectors, system fan 2&3 have 3. I've looked in the manual but can't find anything about RGB. Help?

MB doesn't have any so you'd have to use what case has or an aftermarket RGB controller.

Oh right thanks, this is the pc case manual, are you sure I cannot connect one of those female connectors to the motherboard?

Look at step 5 in the manual, it requires addressable (digital) MB controller which MB doesn't have,

OK thanks for the help, I guess when i get a new mobo sometime i will check to see if it is compatible with those.

Not even all of new ones have that one but ordinary 4pin RGB.
