is my motherboard too old for MSI Gt 1030?

Hi, I'm going to buy one Gt 1030 2GB 2GH OC (Heatsink) video card, which I know to be a pci-e v. 3.0.
Now, according to Gpuz my old motherboard has 2 pcie x16 v. 1.1 slots, so I wonder if that card will fit and work properly on my main board (Gigabyte p35-ds4 with socket 775 for Intel Core 2 Duo).
Please help.

Thanks,
Alessandro

Yes it works but the 1030 might be an issue due to vBIOS and EUFI compability which I'm sure your pc uses Legacy BIOS. Get a GT730 or 750/Ti. It won't have any issues with older BIOS's.

Oh no. Really? I chose that card because it's quite cheap yet meets the minimum requirements needed by a program I have to start using (2gb memory and over 2000 Passmarks points).
The GT730 or 750 are not powerful enough...

I know I'm late as hell to the party but a 1030 would definitely botteleneck a C2D. And there's compability issues with older hardware due to vBIOS. Also some 1030's ship with regular DDR4 instead of GDDR5, which reduces perfomance drastically.
