How old is that corsair cv 650 PSU?

History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit-mining?

My thought is that the new GPU and/or host computer may have made power demands that the PSU could not support and thus failed in some manner.

So it was a used PSU that you have had for 1 month - correct?

Do you know how long the PSU was in use before then?

What efficiency rating?

Where did you get the PSU? Family, friend, Ebay, etc.?
Na bro.. The whole pc is new...i used psu for 1 month

Hey there,

It's possibly the PSU. The CV is not really good enough for a gaming machine. They are meant for office PC's and the like.

Have you another to test with? Alternatively, bring to local repair store and get them to swap it out and test. Might set you back 20£$€ or so.

Also, FYI:

https://silentpcreview.com/psu/guid...XT requires a,to overclock your graphics card.

From the link:

"The RX 6600XT requires a minimum of 500 watts of power to function properly. However, it is recommended to go for a higher-wattage PSU to ensure that you have enough power for all your components, especially if you plan to overclock your graphics card."

As above: return the PSU via RMA and purchase a higher wattage and quality PSU.
