Is my old PSU still good? (Upgrading)

Hello, I have Pentium 4, HD 5450, 4GB, and the PSU is Golden Power 550W, And It's time to upgrade, And since I'm on a tight budget I don't want to waste money on something I already have, And I only used it for 1-2 years, And help would be helpful, Thanks!

Don't know about the quality of Golden power. But, 550w should be plenty for a upgrade using a graphics card as good as a GTX760ti or R9-280:
