Is my onboard nic dead? Solid orange light

Hello everyone. I shut down my PC to install a new GPU. Im going from crossfire 6950's to a single 970 and installing a 3rd monitor.

Hardware came out very easy and went in easy. I get a post to 1 screen and have not installed drivers

I am getting a solid orange light from my NIC card onboard.
I have tested 3 different cables.
I have downloaded the drivers from my MOBO's site
Still not working.

Is it dead?

What else can I try?

So you card worked fine before you installed your gpu?
