Is my P5GC MX/1333 compatible with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600

I want to buy a new procesor but I want to know if my motherboard can handle this one because i searched for answers and someone says that it can handle and someone tells it can't.And if it cannot handle this one can it handle Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7400? P.S sorry for my bad english

this motherboard can handled up to intel core 2 Duo E8600
if you put intel core 2 duo E7400 it will be fine at least you have latest bios (0.407)

There are NO motherboards based on Intel 945 that can support 45nm quad core. There were only a rare few Intel 945 boards (out of several dozen) that could support 65nm quad core (only three intel core 2 quad Q9400,Q9550,Q9650). Nearly all 945 boards needed a VRM rework/revision just to support 45nm dual core. Due to a chipset limitation, reliably supporting quad core is not feasible and most motherboard manufacturers never bothered trying.
