I recently purchased an GTX 1070 from ASUS. I'm not getting the performance increase I was expecting to get. I ran a 3DMark test with the 780Ti I had before and with the new 1070 and the score went up by about 4000 (Not really sure how significant that is). In games such as Battlefield 1 and GTA 5 however I'm not really noticing a performance increase. I ran the GTA 5 Benchmark and was getting a consistent 60 - 65FPS throughout the test with the 780Ti and the 1070.
FYI: I did a fresh install of Windows 10 after the upgrade (was long overdue for one anyway). I completely uninstalled the Nvidia drivers after removing the 780Ti and putting in the 1070 for testing. All drivers are up to date.
What I'm wondering is if my CPU or RAM is holding the system back. CPU is slightly newer but RAM is fairly old.
CPU: Intel i5-4690k @3.5GHz (4.0GHz in OC Mode)
Memory: (See screenshot) http://prnt.sc/dj511h
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Hero
