Question Is my PC killing hard drives?

So in my last thread, with wishful thinking my 1TB HDD survived 3 months before dying, so I put back my old 500GB HDD with a new 500 GB HDD (SATA2 and SATA0 in the boot order, respectively). But 2 days after I bought the new 500GB, my old one throws up the same error the 1TB did, 1720 but it's Attribute #0A this time. Is my PC behind all of this, or is it finally time to say goodbye to my old 500GB that's been with me for 3 years now?

what do you use that hdd for?

Windows 10 Pro x64
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Intel Core-i5 2400 3.10GHz
OEM HP PSU (for the HP Compaq Elite MT 8200)

I use the second hard disk for older software and games. Important data is mostly on the working, new hard drive

Update: just turned the system on and the error didn't appear. Maybe it will again on the next boot. IDK whats going on here

New update: Error doesn't appear anymore. Must've been a false positivie
