Ok my specs

I5-3450 3.1 ghz
Asrock B75m-GL R2.0
8gb of RAM
Corsair 500w PSU
GTX 960 4gb FTW
CPU cooler cooler master hyper 212 evo And 1TB HDD

The system runs silent on idle and full load suprisinngly but sometimes it feels slow. And i get like a lot memory consuptions. Any ideas

Na I think he should upgrade RAM for now and upgrade entire PC in a Year. Upgrading GPU now is meaningless as new lineups will be available in next 6 months and possibly the Price on RAM and SSDs will go down in a Year so that would make more sense.

No no I was trying to give him temporary solution for his problem with memory utilization. Well you are correct to not spend any more on that old gen hardware and instead go for new one. My point is that if OP can pull the present build up for next few months he can have better upgrade path. I was just saying that upgrading GPU at present time is a bad idea instead he should start saving money and go for a good high end build in a Year.

There are several things you can get to optimized your current rig.
- Get extra 8GB RAM. This is already recommended above. RAM prices are not as cheap as they were, hitting eBay would be a good idea.
- Get a more powerful graphic card but the prices of all graphic cards are really chaotic at the moment. I would wait, if I were you.
- Get an SSD. I would really recommend getting an SSD.
If you plan to do a big overhaul, you can still carry over the SSD and graphic card to your new setup.

BTW, if your PC is becoming slow without clear reasons. I would really check if you have viruses, malwares, etc.
I also assume that you do your planned maintenance like cleaning unused programs, start-up programs only to those you need, etc.
I also assume that you clean your PC from dust regularly.

Yeah, that sounds like the best overall solution.
