So I bought this pc from my friend about a week ago, and it works fine.

But when i go look at the temps of my cpu its always high. Its sits idle at 49-55. My friend and I tried alot of things to fix this and it still runs hot. It also runs at 3,7 - 3,95 ghz on idle. My fps in some games like fortnite isnt the same like the benchmarks on YouTube. Can anyone help?

My specs are:
Ryzen 5 2600
stock cooler
Radeon RX5700XT Sapphire Nitro +
Corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz
MSI Tomahawk MAX b450
600w EVGA w2

Thanks

(edit, my cpu also goes to 70-89 degrees celsius when gaming)

Get a better CPU cooler. You say you're still using the stock cooler? Stock CPU coolers are a DISASTER. They're so bad, most decent cpus don't come with a cooler because they expect most people to know the need for a good one, lol.

It's on the "high end" price wise, but the Corsair H170i's are AWESOME coolers.
