Is My Power Supply Causing My PC To Restart Randomly?

Hello, this is my first time on this forum.

I think that my weak Raidmax 520w psu is causing the problems and just wanted some to confirm my suspicions. I upgraded from a 7770 to an r9 290x and when I did my pc would freeze and restart. However when I put my 7770 back in I don't get the freeze and restart. I don't think it's the card since I bought it working from a friend who said he never had this problem before. His power supply is a corsair ax 1200w. So is it just my power supply? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
You have a Raidmax PSU? Raidmax PSUs are Terrible!! and they can destroy your components! i would highly suggest you change it immediately before anything happens.

Never use Raidmax PSUs, its like a bomb for your components.

Solution
Most definately yes.

Raidmax uses poor OEMs therefore their PSU are in a very bad quality. I remember when my cousin built a new computer he had a Raidmax PSU and as soon as he turned it on. The Raidmax PSU exploded and fried all of his components. Good thing he had warranty though...
