Is My power supply going to be enough for my new build?

I'm going to be building a new Desktop with an i7 6700k, Gtx 980 Strix, 32GB(4x8GB) DDR4 Ram, an h100i, 6 Mechanical Hard Drives, 2 ssds, and a Bluray drive. I currently have a 600 Watt power supply(CX600).

The Corsair CX600 is a poor quality power supply. Once you get into the territory of owning a $400 CPU and a $440 GPU, you should definitely buy a quality PSU, not because it "doesn't have enough wattage" but because it's poor quality. turkey3 is right, my corsair 600m got fried over the course of two years, i was lucky that it was the only thing damaged in my build, with as many components as you have running at once you'd probably want more than 600w anyway

makes no sense to spend hundreds of dollars on components and then purchase a poor quality power supply

Alright, i do actually plan to upgrade to a modular power supply, i just have to wait another 2 weeks after i get the rest of my parts to buy it, i just wanted to know if it would be enough to hold me over until then.

Just don't subject it to high loads until you get a new PSU.

Will be upgrading completely in 8 weeks, but in 4 ill be able to get the 980 and power supply, if i have to hold off for the rest of the build my current build should be more than enough to work with. My main weakness is the 7870 im currently using.

Yes that sounds like a good plan , you want the great PSU paired with the new card.
