Is my PSU dead?

My computer overheated while gaming and just shut off instantly, I turned off the psu, unplugged and opened the computer and the psu was very hot. I waited for it to cool off, plugged it back in, and it wont turn on. Was it the psu? Or something else? Im frightened.

Lsp ultra 750w psu

Never heard of this LSP brand...
I would assume that that is dead... Try another PSU to be sure

Ultra brand power supplies are crap. Replace immediately or sooner if possible. A good quality 500-600 watt unit will be fine for your build. Spend a bit more money this time and don't buy a piece of junk. Try Seasonic, EVGA Gs or G2 series, Antec or XFX.

Hopefully it's just the PSU, but low quality PSUs like that Ultra can take other parts with them when they die.
