hello guyz!
first time posting here! recently iam in the market to buy a new graphic card that is ASUS gtx 760 .
as stated it requires 500w , and my psu is coolermaster thunder 500w so i wnated to make sure
that can my psu can power 760? i choose asus gtx 760 because it rquires single 8 pin which is there in my psu.

my current pc specs is :

processor- i5 2500k

mobo- asrock b75

gpu- 9800gt

ram - 4gb

hardisk - 500gb

psu- coolermaster thunder 500w

resolution - 1440x900

i bought my psu 11 months back so its not that old, and i will be using my pc for till april only so that's why not looking to buy a new psu if possible.

Solution
At 1440x900 the 760 will have little to no problems playing games at ultra, you could definitely consider spending more towards a PSU for a 280x though, it's essentially a 7970 GHz edition and is much more powerful than the 760, but at 1440x900 it would be a little overkill in my opinion

The AMD equivalent of the 760 would be the 7950, so go with whichever one is cheaper

You can also consider adding 4GB more DDR3 ram into your system for a total of 8GB, that's the optimal amount for gaming nowadays

no iam talking about 280x, will cx 600w will be able to power r9 280x ? or i should buy 760 and keep my current psu that is cm thunder 500w

Just to let you know I have a GTX670 running on my original 400w psu that came with my computer and I can still overclock with no crashes, you will be fine with a 760 although if you can find a 670 they are about the same price and 670 is ~ 10% faster

which is more power hungr gtx 670 or 280x ?

yes i feel the same 🙁. is there any other device to play game just like pc and is portable ?

280x is similar to gtx770 for price/power/performance. gtx760 is closer to r7950. IF you don't want to change psu but still get the better of the 280x/770 get the brand that uses the least power (not going to be the fastest of the group but the variance will not be that much) most likely a gtx770 as they draw about 20w less

because i will leave my country , and will go to Europe for higher
studies . How is samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition ? is it good ?

do you think it will be a good entertaining device ?and will worth the money ? i know this thread is not for this but please.

where i live iam note getting tegra note 7 made by evga but made by other brand , then also should i go for it ? and buy gtx 660 aswell ?

The Nexus 7 is by Google. Google made Android. Nexus devices run stock Android.
As for GPU's I'd wait until 2014 to decide. AMD might pull out a new card to beat the 780Ti and 1 word. Pricedrops.

but as people suggested no matter which brand it have it will be a same tablet, is it so ?
