First of I made another thread, which just got filled with arguments, I just picked the best answer. (sorta an answer), but now that I know my proper psu I want to know if it can run msi 980 ti sli

SPECS

msi 980 ti

17-5820k overclocked to 3.4 gigz.

PSU: Power Supply ATNG 800w 80+ Bronze Ultra Silent

yes but I want to know if the current psu I own might be enough because some people said yes and others no

Not, it probably won't be. I wouldn't take the chance because it can cause your computer to crash when under load.

I remember purchasing it from cyber power.

You should not even consider trusting $1300 worth of video cards plus the rest of your system to anything less than one of the very best quality power supplies you can get. Anyone who can afford a pair of 980 ti's can afford a good power supply to protect them.

taking it that It took mew quite a bit of saving up to get this rig, I guess i'll just save some more for a better psu. Any one know a good psu under 100$ likt 850-1000w range?

The GQ 850W is very high quality. Voltage regulation under 1% on all rails. Ripple below 15-20mv on all rails. 100% Japanese capacitors. 850W on the 12V rail alone.

The GQ 1000W is also found for a solid price. However, it has not had a professional review done it, so be cautious about deciding to buy it. Some GQ like the 750W don't perform too well in some aspects, and the 650W, while a solid performer, did nowhere near as well as the wonderful 850W. So just be cautious. They all vary. Hopefully the 1000W is more like the 850W.
