is my psu good enough?

I have asked a few questions this week, but i'm definitely upgrading my graphics card but i'm not sure if my psu is powerful enough?
so the build when upgraded will be:
CPU: I5 3570k stock clock
GPU: R9 290x
RAM: 16gbs corsair vengeance blue
HDD: 2tbs and a 1TB hdd
SSD: 140GB SSD
and like 10 usb things lol..

my current PSU is an XFX 550watt 80+ bronze think it will be good enough for me to upgrade my gpu? or should i get a new psu too?

its an Asus Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II AMD Graphics Card - 4GB that i'll be upgrading to, dunno if my PSU is good enough at 550 watts, and uh no i'm not planning on overclocking it

but thats a 280x, isn't the 290x higher than the 280x in power draw? or am i missing something?

Running a non-overclocked R9 290X on a XFX 550W is doable but I would still recommend you a 650W. It's up to you if you want to continue using the XFX 550W or get a new psu.

so would a XFX 650W XXX Hybrid Modular Power Supply be an acceptable PSU upgrade? I'm assuming so from the link that intelturtlefan gave?
