[SOLVED] is my psu powerful enough?

Hi, i have a 450 W PSU and my curently specs are :
i5 4460
8gb ram
amd rx 560 2gb
1 tb hdd
250 GB ssd
I want to upgrade my specs and buy a gtx 1060 3 GB and add another 8 RAM but im not sure if my PSU can handle the new components, help?

i found a corsair one,
Corsair CV550, 80+ Bronze, 550W

If I remember correctly, Bronze is more efficient than White.

So yeah, its good. But you need to know if your Voltage is enough, although I think it should be fine.

Not the worst, but can you get a CX, those are better.

If I remember correctly, Bronze is more efficient than White. So its better than the one I recommended...I think.

But you might want to double check the voltage to be enough or not. Although I think its fine.

An efficiency label has nothing to do with quality. CV550 is not a good choice. It's a groupregulated unit with kind of bad voltage regulation compared to a PSU with a DC-DC platform.

The Corsair CV units are just a glorified version of the VS series. Not a good unit, IMHO. The TX650M get's my vote from this list:

but has to have 650W if you plan to upgrade past the GTX1060. If you plan to stick with the parts you have, 550W will do you plenty. Again, more wattage will mean you holding onto the PSU for a longer period of time and allow you to drop in more hardware down the road.

I can vouch for the CX 550-F. Great and reliable budget PSU, just like the whole non-modular gray CX lineup.
