Hello all.

Before we get started, this is my system as of right now: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sF8TwP

So last Friday, I decided to upgrade my PC a little bit. I bought a 500gb m.2 drive for my flight simulation, and I also bought 16 more GB of RAM (this exact kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017NW5NZY/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 ) This kit is a 2x 8GB kit at 2400mhz.

The RAM I had before adding this kit was 2x of this stick: https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Veng...0mhz+ddr4&qid=1586914827&s=electronics&sr=1-2

So I originally had one stick (8GB) of that, then later got a second stick (16GB) which ran well, then I wanted to upgrade to 32GB so I got that 16GB kit linked earlier? With me? :p

So I install everything and I boot my PC and it brings me to the BIOS saying it detected a CPU or Memory change, which was correct. Since I don't touch my memory in the bios, I just hit save and exit, and then boom Windows shows I have 32GB of RAM.

Then today I am flying around in flight simulator when I get a blue screen, which I have not gotten in a very long time. The code was "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", and at the time I didn't think anything of it.

Come back to later this afternoon, I'm installing a new version of flight sim on my fresh m.2 drive when I keep having crashes with a fully default installation. The crash keeps happening because of kernalbase.dll. This dll is known to crash because of driver issues. I also look up my BSOD code from earlier to see it too can crash because of driver issues.

So okay, drivers are a problem. I first run the Windows Memory Diagnostic test, which comes back with no errors at all. Then I run the cmd scan /scannow test, and it says everything was A-okay. I also run Display Driver Uninstaller w/ safe mode to remove and install my GPU drivers. Now everything is brand new, but I come back to my flight simulator, and low and behold it is still crashing. I have ran a lot of memory tests and nothing says there is a problem. I don't know what else to try! Anyone got any ideas?

Solution
Probably nothing wrong with memory. It's just the combination you made in various purchases are unable to operate at rated specifications together. Try setting slower memory clock speed.
