is my RAM the problem in my system?

every game ive been playing seems to crash when loading. ive read a few forum threads and concluded that my RAM may be the problem. do you think i need an upgrade for my RAM?
(i've also gotten the 0x50 BSOD a few times)

You can create a bootdisk or boot USB with MemTest86 to confirm if there are any memory issues with your computer. The MSDN also states that bad video memory can cause your BSOD. You can remove your video card and attempt to load a game that has previously crashed your computer.
