Hey, this is my first time building a watercooled rig. Can anyone tell me if this is good enough to play most games maxed out at 4k, if not, 1440p? If this is the wrong thread please redirect me. Thanks a bunch!
ps. I plan to get another gtx 980 and watercool them both but i just don't have the money yet.

Solution
no a single gtx 980 wont max out games at a 4k resolution .. you need atleast a 2way sli of the card for games to play at ultra settings ... get another gtx 980 and you should be better off at 4k

The first time i heard about the specs of the Titan, i thought "Ok, looks good." but then then price just killed it, really 2k for one Titan? Overpriced garbage. nVidia really went full stupid their.

I think you're better off getting the 295x2 since you already have 1000w of PSU, but you won't be able to play on ultra in "all" games with close to 60 fps. But you don't have to play on max for all settings, at 4k, the different texture levels doesn't make a whole lot of different like lower resolutions do. Also AA is completely useless at 4k, so don't even turn that on. All you have to do is keep the GPU below 75C. I could sell my in about 5-6 weeks, lol, I actually don't even use my 2nd one :)

Try it! Nvidia has a new option called DSR (dynamic super resolution) in their drivers that will let you run a game at 4k while downsampling it to your monitor's actual resolution... it'll let you see for yourself if it can handle 4k! :)

Although personally you might want another 980 or two for more taxing titles.
