Good day,

I have a TPLink Archer C64 router which worked perfectly fine until a recent thunderstorm. Lightning struck a nearby power pole which caused a power outage. After the power came back, my router is just mysteriously stuck on a reboot loop. It turns on for about a minute and then after that it reboots itself. I checked some other electronic devices in the house and everything works perfectly fine apart from this router.

Should I buy a new one?

And I will add the suggestion that the lightning strike may have caused other damage to wiring (electrical, coax, network, etc.) and outlets.

End result being that plugging in a new router would be immediately fatal to the new router.

Find a qualified electrician to check things out first.
