Is my sony vaio model:pcg-71911m 64bit or 32bit?

Why do we no longer get a specification listing with a Sony PC? I cannot establish whether my new VAIO is 32 or 64bit

Hi there. All PCed shipped in the past 6 years have been capable of of handling both 64 bit and 32 bit operating modes. The mode that it operates in is dependent on the operating system that you install. If you install a 32 bit Windows operating system you will be able to run only 32 bit Windows applications. If you install a 64 bit Windows operating system you will be able to run both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows applications

Many thanks Pinhedd now I can download the 'Publisher' Prog. I've ordered as 64bit. I really must keep up with progress.
