is my ssd compatible with my motherboard

Solution

I thought I'd be easier to find than it was but after some reading I found this statement "...If you wish to overclock an LGA1155 processor, an Intel P67 or Z68 motherboard is what's required." found in a review for an H67 based motherboard here http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=2636&page=5
about the SSD, yes. your Mobo has SATA3 6Gbps interface with expansion slots of two 3.5" drives (you might need a converter for that, your SSD is 2.5").
about the CPU, your mobo has the H67 chipset, which is compatible with second and third gen of intel core CPUs (LGA1155 socket). so you can get a maximum of core i7-3770K CPU. the forth gen i7-4770K is of different socket (LGA 1150).

That system will support your SSD no problem.
The motherboard that comes with that unit features the H67 chipset - that chipset is found on socket 1155 motherboards so the socket 1150 4770k would not fit (nor be supported). The H67 chipset came out with Sandy Bridge CPU's about 2 years ago - it should support Ivy Bridge CPU's, the i7-3770 is probably the best supported CPU (needs BIOS version V2.0 to work). It does list the 3770k as supported but I can't see the need for an unlocked CPU there since the BIOS does not allow for overclocking.

nice catch.
though i've been looking around about that, i read "limited OC" and then "this OC is about the iGPU, not the CPU itself".

can you provide a link about that? thanks

there have been a lot of debate on that back in 2011, as i can see in many forums. the only thing that is available in the H67 is the "turbo", which cannot be considered a real OC functionality.
thanks a lot.
