So I recently bought a 64gb Samsung USB and decided to run Seatools, but the program got stuck on "Scanning for USB devices" before it stopped responding. I decided to remove the USB and then the program continued as normal but my USB couldn't be accessed anymore and whenever I try putting it in, there's a windows error that says "one of the USB devices attached has malfunctioned and Windows doesn't recognise it"

Things I've tried:
  • Uninstalling the USB driver in Device Manager (Unknown USB device, device descriptor failed)
  • Plugging it into another computer (same error)
Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to contact anyone?

Thanks

If it helps, uninstalling the driver and reinstalling continuously shows "Device descriptor request failed" even in other computers

For anyone having this problem, I'm sorry but I couldn't get my USB working, I even tried forcefully installing a USB driver. Oh well, it's toast. I hope you fix yours!

Have you tried other USB ports? If you're plugging it in from your case, make sure the USB cables are plugged into the motherboard.
