[SOLVED] Is nch software safe?

I recently downloaded videopad and voxal voice changer but I recently came across reddit posters that say to not install nch software. I instantly deleted both programs but then I read that NCH leaves a bunch of leftovers and I was wondering if letting those leftovers stay on my pc is safe? Should I remove them?

many of the articles about it being hard to remove are from 2 years ago - https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/whats-problem-nch-software-remove/ so its difficult to tell if its still the case.

Funny thing is they are in my city. Never heard of them.
