is Nvidia better than amd

My friend just bought a new laptop with a dual core i5@2.6ghz and 8gigs of ram and a geforce 710m
and i just built my pc with a quad core i5 3450@ 3.1ghz and 4gigs of ram and a crappy amd radeon hd 6670 2gb ddr3 i compared the two cards and mine is massivly better but he can run watch dogs more smoother as he said (both of us use fxaa injector and play at 800x600 with everything low 😀) so is nvidia that much better or i jylust need ram or what i have to do my game is so smooth but while driving after 1 minute the game is unplayable for a while from time to time he tells me that he has no problems like that so tell me what i have to do 😀 and i have downloaded the drivers for the vidwo card beforce that i couldn't even start the game

Watch_Dogs is a terrible game to compare performance with,it was intentionally crippled for PC by Ubisoft so PC didnt look so glaringly better than the "next gen" consoles.

But yes,it sounds like your RAM is filling up,even on low settings its possible if you have lots of programs running in the background. Once your RAM is full you have to start "Hotswapping".Which utilizes Hard drive space to act as virtual RAM,but its slow.
