Hello !

I currently have 3 120mm Corsair SP120 fans as intake, and 1 as exhaust in my Meshify C TG build. Because of the noise, i am changing my intake fans to 2 140mm Corsair HD140 fans.

My question is, will only 1 120mm fan be enough as an exhaust, if i use 2 140mm intake fans?
My CPU cooler is a Dark Rock Pro 4 (which pushes the hot air out to the exhaust fan).

Also the intake fans are in the front, and the rear is in the back.

Thank you in advance.

Solution
Yes, two for the front and one for the back should be fine. Most intake fans have a lot of air flow restrictions due to the case whereas the exhaust fan typically has very little restrictions, not even a screen. So in many cases, 2 intake can bring in about as much as 1 can exhaust.

140mm fans dont bring in more air, they just move more air at lower RPM, so they are quieter.

As far as fans go, I am a big fan (no pun intended) of the corsair ml fans. They are very quiet. The SP fans sound like helicopters. But the ml fans are high, so there is always a trade off.
