Well don't go in the middle of 2 resolutions, either go with 1080p or 720p. If your card cannot run 1080p well then go at 720p. But most decent cards will run at 1080p.

1080p = 1920 x 1080
720p = 1280 x 720

How much money have you got though? You could always buy a better card and get better fps and ultra settings. With higher cards you could even get 1440p resolutions and above.
