[SOLVED] Is rolling back drivers a solution?

Hey guys, my gaming laptop recently updated through windows update by itself the nvidia driver while I have installed an older version but manufacturer's latest suggestion. I used the roll back button. It seems to be at the old stable state again, but I would like to ask you if it is safe and if it completely clears the new drivers without letting any "remnants" behind. Will I need to use DDU and reinstall them or I am fine with this solution?

Using DDU to uninstall then install from the NVIDIA website is the best option as it gives you the latest optimizations. rollback drivers will often be outdated and can cause lag issues in-game.
