[SOLVED] Is RTX 2080 5120x1440 at 144Hz possible?

Hello guys I wanted to know if an RTX 2080 can manage this 49" LG ultrawide monitor(5120x1440). I will be gaming. Ill be using a Ryzen 3700X.

Most probably no. For a constant 144fps in that resolution not even 2080Ti is enough. You are asking ALMOST the same amount of pixels with 4k resolution and 144fps. MAYBE next gen of GPUs like the next 3080Ti can handle it.

Now, if you lower the settings, you MIGHT get 100+ fps but I would not bet on that.

I have the RTX 2080 at 4K and I can confirm it is a big no!!! though turning down a few settings will help...The RTX 2080Ti is a big step up and even then 144FPS is a long shot....
