Hi all

I have do the torrenting on my odroid xu4 and pc a few time's. The hard drives seam to fail/dye more frequently. Is it just my luck ? Or is it due to the power block for the external drive ?

Solution
Ops .. I forgot to mention I was using it for media play back 24/7... I know sounds like I watch a lot of TV but its just there for back ground noise and for wen my brain needs a brake.
I fergot I also had a IBook dye about 16 months old.
Luck of the draw.

Decade old, or refurb drives...yeah, those might die no matter what the use.

Torrenting is not especially hard on a drive.
Much much less than some other uses.

What number is "more frequently. " ?
Decade old, death is not unsurprising.

'refurb' ? Why?

Anyway....torrenting is not especially hard on a drive.
