Question Is Ryzen 5 2600X good for multitasking ? (with the help of a 16 GB 3000GHz RAM)

So, while I was trying to build a new pc for multitasking, I found Ryzen 5 2600X which, in my opinion, is a pretty decent cpu for multitasking. What do you thing ? Is there any better cpu in the same budget for multitasking ?

Any newer CPU should be able to handle multitasking 2600X has a better stock cooler so may be worth it.

yes, I also have a 2600x / b450 / 2x8gb 3200 / 1070ti, amazing gaming performance @ 1080 / 144 and with 6c/12t is an excellent budget workstation in it's own right (no problem running several VM guests)... Although, the 8c/16t 2700 or 2700x would of course be better, depending on the task at hand.
