Is Ryzen going to work with any DDR4 ram?

Hello, as the title says, do I need some specific brand for DDR4 ram for Ryzen (1600) or I can use my old Crucial 1x8GB DDR4 2133Mhz? I know that faster ram is better for Ryzen, but I've seen for someone that some ram memories won't let Ryzen 1600 PC to boot.
So can I use any DDR4 ram to get the system working? I'm not asking for the best performance, just to get Ryzen system working and boot it.

Thanks in advance

I see no difference between the 2 at all.

Crucial ram all uses micron nand as its their own brand not outsourced

I would be fairly certain it will work fine.

Msi have always been at the front with ram compatibility too .
Good chance that stuff will actually run at 2400 imo.

I found that MSI X370 SLI PLUS will support this Crucial memory module: CT8G4DFS8213.8FB1
And this is my Crucial memory module: CT8G4DFS8213.C8FBD1

Are these the same model or two different?

Okay then, btw the difference in the stated models are at the end:
- MSI stated that they support CT8G4DFS8213 with ending of .8FB1
- And I am using the same CT8G4DFS8213 with the ending of .C8FBD1

I will upgrade my ram to something better like 2666MHz but I am now just right on the edge of my budget for new build, so I would need to use my old 8GB DDR4 2133MHz module for some time and later get better, I hope that until then prices of RAM would come down...

Again, you already have the stick so give it a try. It won't cost you anything.

There have been a number of improvements since Ryzen first came out. I'd update the bios if there is one. But if the ram stick doesn't work you won't be able to update the bios because it won't boot.
