Is Samsung 840 evo ssd compatibile with Toshiba Satellite L350?

I have a Satellite L350 PSLD8E-0J500QH2 laptop which I want to upgrade with a Samsung 840 evo.
I do not know whether these two are compatible, can anyone help?

Yes they are. Any PC or laptop less than 5 years old should be OK

Hi - I just tried to clone my Toshiba L350 (325GB HDD) with a new 500GB Samsung 840EVO. I get an error message:

"cloning failed Target disk has been disconnected. -00001[ffffffff]"

I updated Samsung cloning software to the 2.6 version. I am at a loss on what else to do...

Reading the Samsung Manual, it notes that "OEM factory recovery partition" is not replicated - maybe this is a problem?,,,
