Is SLI smart with my setup?(HELP PLEASE!)

im thinking of purchasing a second graphics card as a cheap alternative to getting a completely new card but i dont know if my pc is capable.

my rig is=
inwin grone case
8 gb corsair ram
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 motherboard
antec 750w truepower psu
i5 4670k
gtx 760

will i be ok adding a second 760?

Your PC is capable, however SLI 760s is fairly lackluster. You would be more satisfied with a more powerful card.

I agree with Gam3r01, would be better if you just go for a more powerful card like the 980's

whats a card that will improve my experience with the £150 i have,(i can spend more but thats what i would like)

Don't waste your money on a 980 get a 970 the jump from a 970-980 isnt worth the extra money

You would be better off saving up until you could afford a better card.
AMD's new series is coming out soon, so that will provide some new options as well.

Overall, the 760 is still capable, so I recommend waiting.

two 760s is around the same,if not a little better than 1 780...£300-£400 on a 970 or 980 just seems ridiculous

Not to mention the Vram wall you would likely hit, considering the likelyhood of you having a 2GB model of the 760.

A single 780 is still 15% behind a 970, and with new cards coming out prices will change. Youre better off waiting.
