I Want to buy a graphic card i want to buy 7870 ghz editon

My friend told me that this card is full of problems as the black screen problem after an hour of play

Is this true knowing I'm going to buy the card from the shop has only two types only of the card :

SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz EDITION 2GB GDDR5 Dual-X

SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB GDDR5

Do I buy this card

Or going to galaxy gtx 660

and is that a problem if i run hd 7870 on

Cooler Master K380 Mid Tower Desktop Case + Extreme Power Plus 500W PSU

which have 500w ?

Get the card.

However your PSU is dodgy, consider ungrading it to a Corsair CX500/CX600 in time.

What about that sapphire using cheap things damaged and French site to face advice not to buy it??

And what about the price of the card is very close to the price of hd 7850 ??

Sapphire is one of AMDs biggest partners, I use their cards and find their components to be top notched and thanks to it I have an awesome overclock going.

Yes, you can run that card on that PSU.
I do not know what french site you are talking about but its utter bull, never heard of issues with this card.

Never heard of these problems. Isolated faulty cards are nothing strange, they have warranties.

"In my opinion the reason Sapphire seems to be more affected because they sell the cheapest cards and as a result there are more of them out in the wild. Also because they are cheaper there is a higher chance that they employ the bugged capacitors which cause the problem, as opposed the say MSI's HAWK cards which are built from higher quality components (but you pay the premium for it).

The cards can be RMAd easily, faulty cards can come from ANY manufacturer and ANY model number. One of my HD7950 had an issue, had a faulty GTX650ti this year too, it happens and getting them replaced for free is simple and easy. That is why a 3 year warranty exists.

I have a Sapphire HD7870XT and it gets very hot and will crash after 30 minutes. My problem might be not enough ventilation or proper airflow. The fans blow hot air around the case and my card was right next to my power supply. It has good reviews, but hasn't worked for me, so I bought a GTX 770 with the Titan cooler. If your airflow is good, I'm sure the 7870 is great.

You should take the advice of Novuake, since he is a Graphics card Master 😛 The Sapphire cards are great, if there is a problem with it it is easy enough to return it for a replacement; you should get the card.
