So I'll try to be more specific here..

I'm trying to extend my connection in different rooms in 2 floor house. But I'm not satisfied with the results yet.. Tried wireless extenders which was never good or stable..

And since the house is not wired with ethernet cables, I tried the powerline adapters to connect my router to the source(cable modem).. That is always better than the wireless extenders, but I still lose at least %40of theoriginal speed.. Also it's not reliable and I have to restart the router 3-4 days a week..

Now, what I want to do is (if possible and simple enough)whether I could split my connection into 2 different rooms and connect 2 modems to the same network..That way the connection will be as good as the other one in different places.. I know that the technician has a tool that can make any jack alive through out the house to connect my modem. So it can go to 2nd floor or 1st floor or anywhere in the house. The only thing is any time you switch the rooms, the first jack becomes inactive..

Long story short :), can 2 jacks be live so I can connect 2 modems? If so how?

Ps: the technician even highlighted which cables connect which room but again according to the current setup only 1 jack can be live..

Also, my current modem is SBG6580 which is a modem+router..

I appreciate any advise..

Thank you.

If you mean tv coax the cable company will charge you for 2 accounts if you use 2 modems. If you have coax cable in both rooms you can likely use adapters called MoCA. The main issue with these is many of the cable companies use Moca or somethings similar to make their whole house DVR stuff work. If you have cable tv you may not be able to use these devices.
