Is that possible to use laptop sata port HDD for the desktop?and i want to use it for a permanent. is there any issue are gonna be effect my whole PC???
 
Solution
Laptop HDDs are usually slower than desktop HDDs. Less cache, slower RPM. You may also need an adapter if your case does not have direct mounting locations for 2.5 inch disks. But laptop harddrives will work fine in a desktop, with the limitations mentioned. Reusing the OS on a laptop drive is a different issue. You violate the license and it may not even boot.
