If you haven't bought this chip yet, go with the 8350. The only difference other than power consumption is that its essentially an absurdly overclocked version of the 8350. And if AMD is saying you need a loop to cool it as well as a minimum of a 1000W PSU then it might not be worth it.

The only real difference in between the 8370 and the 8350 is price. Other than that they only boosted the turbo clock in the 8370 from 4.2 to 4.3Ghz. So, your paying an extra ~$20.00 USD for .1Ghz in stock turbo speed. The OC'ing is not going to be much different if any in between the 8350 and the 8370. So, you might as well just go with the 8350 and save ~$20.00.

No one has said that on here. The only thing mentioned about liquid cooling on this thread was that it is mandatory to have a loop if he decided to go with the FX-9590 CPU. I personally recommend liquid cooling regardless of which CPU he chooses out of the 8xxx-9xxx series because they do produce so much heat. Whether that be an AIO CPU cooler or a full custom loop doesn't really matter. Although the custom loop will be better for maintenance and longevity. However, a custom loop will be more expensive than an AIO closed loop cooler. I have a Corsair h80i cooling off my 8350 in my first build. Its OC'd to 4.6Ghz with slight BUS OC as well. Works perfectly fine and cool. I saved the custom loop for my 4790K build.

Its still going to use the same amount of power as the 9590. BUT, you might not get above 4.7Ghz depending on the manufacturing of the chip itself. Not to mention there is not really a benefit to OC'ing to 5.0Ghz on any AMD processor. If you wanted to get great performance and still be able to OC near or at 5.0Ghz then Intel is the way to go. I have a 4790K that will out perform all AMD processors at stock and it's OC'd to 4.7Ghz.

ok i see i will search some benchmarks
but first i already have the board
Second i dont see any reason why to go to intel because i dont want to have 4 cores and i know intel have ht but i wont pay 340 dollars for a quad core chip
Third if i do go with intel it will be on the x99 platform with a i7 5820k 6 cores 12 thread but right now ddr4 is overprice and x99 boards are too
and four i didnt ask for a intel amd war i just dont care
