Is the asus mx279h good for gaming

I was intrigued by the asus mx279h and I was wondering wether it's a good gaming monitor. I mostly play modded minecraft and horror games. And one more thing, does this monitor have any ghosting issues or screen tearing? I'm not really an expert and I don't know a lot about this stuff

It'll have great colour but a slowish repsonse time. If you are not a gaming fanatic you should love it.
